We’re so proud of our colleague taking on an incredible challenge for Haven! 
In May, one of our amazing colleagues is taking on the Ultra Challenge along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset to raise £1,000 for families living in our refuge accommodation. This is going to be her most difficult challenge yet – 62 miles of inclines and rocky paths in 24 hours! Yes that is non stop walking for 24 hours – WOW! Training is well and truly in full swing!
This challenge means a lot to her and to us. Every day, we see how life-changing it can be when families feel safe, supported and valued after experiencing domestic abuse. Since 1987, Haven Domestic Abuse Service has been supporting adults and children to rebuild their lives, offering safe refuge accommodation for up to 17 families at a time and supporting hundreds more through our wider services each year.
